Since 2001, the Aquarienclub Braunschweig e.V. has been organising a large ornamental fish market twice a year in Braunschweig, where aquarists offer fish and invertebrates they have bred themselves, as well as plants they have grown.
In addition, retailers offer accessories such as tank decorations, food and other items related to aquatics and pets.
We chose the title ‘Ornamental Fish MArket between the Harz and the Heathland’ as this is the main catchment area for our visitors. However, many also come from further afield, such as Hamburg, Bremen or Berlin, as well as Denmark.
